Elijah is a redshirt freshman outside linebacker for the Oregon Ducks. In 2024, he appeared in four games, totaling 24 snaps—18 on defense—and was credited with generating a quarterback pressure in the Ducks’ road win at Purdue. As a five‑star recruit and consensus top‑30 prospect, Elijah chose Oregon over numerous programs thanks to the Ducks’ defensive culture and coaching expertise. He cited defensive leaders like Dan Lanning and Tosh Lupoi as key factors in his decision, saying he “spoke their language” and embraced their vision to build a dynasty from the defense up. Lanning’s player‑first approach and the atmosphere of brotherhood within the team were especially appealing.
